Cavity Floor Trunking

Cavity floor trunking is used to supply power, telephone and data services to remote cavity floor boxes.

Supplied in standard 3 metre lengths in two, three or four compartment options, each length is supplied complete with fast fix cover and coupler.

Services are accessed via header boxes which may be located in the body of the trunking. When using this method the cavity depth from the slab to the underside of the tile must not be less than 90mm. Should the cavity be less than 90mm the services are accessed through 20mm knockouts, pre-punched in the trunking side wall at 600mm centres, one per compartment. When using this method a transfer unit is fitted to allow easy access from the central compartments.
